Configure OLAP and Advanced Reports Field Rules

The OLAP Reports and Advanced Reports field rules determine the data that is displayed on reports. You need to configure these field rules before you can define the internal reports in the Eagle Portal. Refer to Field Rules for step-by-step instructions on creating field rules.

The following table provides specific information for configuring the OLAP and Advanced Reports field rules for some key internal reports in the Eagle Portal.

Field Rules

Entity Selector

Fields with the following XML tags must be contained in the field rule:

  • ENTITY_ID

  • ENTITY_NAME

These fields are used to build the link for the Entity Selector report.

Security Lookup

Fields with the following XML tags must be contained in the field rule:

  • SECURITY_ALIAS

  • ISSUE_NAME

The Security Alias field is used as a unique identifier for the securities. The Issue Name field is used as the default sort value in the security lookup results.

Once you have configured these field rules, you can define internal reports in the Portal Query Explorer.
