Book Trades for Buy Sellbacks/Sell Buybacks

In the Buy/Sellback panels, you can manually book an open (buy or short sell) and close (buy or short sell) trade for a buy sellback/sell buyback security.

This article assumes you are familiar with the entity and security level elections that have been made for processing a buy sellback/sell buyback security. You do not need to set up a security master record for a buy sellback/sell buyback security prior to booking the trade. The system creates it automatically when you submit the trade. However, before booking the trade, ensure that the underlying collateral security master record is available along with its fixed or variable interest rate. This information is required to calculate the net settlement amount, as well as the amount lent or borrowed.
