View Positions

The Position Viewer is a research tool that enables you to quickly research entity holdings for a particular security that is held in Eagle Accounting without having to run individual reports. It lets you see what entities actually hold the requested position within a database partition and quickly research data on an entity or security basis. The Position Viewer provides information for cost positions, cash positions, income positions, Eagle data warehouse As Of positions, wash sale adjustments, ledger portfolio valuation, unsettled transactions, interest receivable/payable, dividend income/expense, and other income/expense. The Position Viewer provides flexible queries for retrieving data, allows you to export data to Excel or to a text file for additional research, and provides a Rejections tab that displays data using a link to the Exceptions workspace.
