About the Book Trade Tool

In Accounting Center's Book Trade workspace, you can use the Book Trade tool to process all types of security transactions. You process cancel transactions using a separate tool. 

With the Book Trade tool, you can:

• Manage tool views and default entry values.

• Search for trade information, such as the entity/security where you plan to book the trade.

• Use trade entry panels to book various types of trades.

To access the Book Trade tool:

In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Transactions > Trades > Book Trade/Rebook Trade > Book Trade. 
You see the Book Trade workspace.

The Book Trade workspace includes a Search Details pane and a Grid pane where you select the security for which you want to book a trade.
