Configure Client Refresh Elections

Using Client Refresh Elections, you can configure ISTAR Refresh/Valuation processing to bypass the creation of some summary data for several reports and schedules for a client. You can choose to only build summary data on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. You can also enforce that the prior month end be frozen before you are permitted to run the ISTAR Refresh/Valuation process for subsequent periods. You can use these elections as a means of reducing the build and storage of data that is not required, and as a result, reducing the processing time to build necessary Insurance data.

Client elections constrain whether the ISTAR Refresh builds summary data during refresh processing. When clients are first added they have no elections, that is, the ISTAR Refresh builds summary data for all processes, whether or not the prior month is in freeze status.

Additional options are available in the Clients grouping to edit, delete, and list Client Refresh Elections information, including history.
