Manage Restart Events
You can create and manage events and then assign these events to individual Eagle engines. Events can be set up to recycle (stop and start) services at a specific date and time and at specific frequency such as weekly or daily.
To create an event:
In System Management Center, click System Settings in the left navigation and then click Restart Events.
You see the Restart Events workspace.To add a new event, right click in the Restart Events pane and select New.
You see the New Events wizard.In the Define tab, enter the Event Name and Event Description. Click Next.
In the Notification tab, click the Send Results Notification checkbox to receive notifications.
You must be subscribed to SERVICE_SCHEDULE_NOTIFICATIONS mailing in order to receive notifications.
Click Save and Close to save the new event or Save & Schedule to schedule the event.

To schedule the event:
After creating an event, Click Save & Schedule.Â
You see the Schedule wizard.In the Define tab, enter the Schedule Name, select the Schedule Group, Log Level, Priority, and Capacity Group from the drop-down list and then click to Enable these details.
Click Next.
You see the Time tab. Here you set the pattern, time, and expiration for the event. In the Time tab, select the time and the recurrence pattern for the restart event. Click Next.
You see the Dependencies tab. Here you can build dependencies between schedules.In the Dependency tab, select an Event Type and Schedule Name from the drop-down list and then click Add Dependency. Click Next.
You see the Notifications tab. Here you configure notifications to support your business practices.In the Notifications tab, click on the Notification(s) you want to enable. Under Type, select the email name you want to notify and then click Save. Repeat this process for each type of notification.Â
After you have completed, click Save & Finish.

To add services to an event:
To add services to your newly created event, in the left navigation, click Environment. On the ribbon, Ensure that the Grid layout is selected on Group Services By drop down.
Review the information in the Environment workspace.
To assign an individual service to an event, right click the service and select Assign Primary Restart Event or Assign Secondary Restart Event. Â
You see the Assign Primary (or Secondary) Restart event wizard.In the Assign Event tab, select the event and click Next.
You see the Service Order tab. In the Services Order tab, select Parallel from the Sequence type drop-down list. For Parallel sequence, all services in the schedule will go down and restart in parallel at the time you designated in the Time dialog box. Use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to set the order in which the services will be recycled.
Click Save & Close to save your changes.

To edit the event:
In System Management Center, click System Settings in the left navigation and then click Restart Events.
You see the Restart Events workspace.In the event workspace, select the event to edit and then from the right-click menu select Edit.
You see the Edit event wizard.Update the fields in the Define, Notifications, and Services Order tab as needed.
Click Save & Close to save your changes.
