Set Up Entity Bank Relationships

To accommodate the NAIC requirement to display the primary depository when a reporting entity does not maintain total deposits in any one depository of more than $250,000, a Primary Depository must be assigned to the client. In addition, you should establish an Entity Bank Relationship for an entity that has cash balances that should be reported on the schedule.

To define an entity bank relationship as a primary depository:

  1. Do one of the following:
    - In Portfolio Data Center, in the left navigation pane, click Portfolio Desk > Accounting Portfolio Setup > Custody Cash Accounts > Create Bank Account Relationship.
    - In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Setup > Portfolio Setup > Custody Cash Accounts > Create Bank Account Relationship.
You see the Create Bank Account Relationship panel.

    Create Bank Account Relationship panel
  2. Complete the options on the panel.
For detailed information about each option, see Manage Bank Account Relationships.

  3. Click Submit to add the entity bank relationship.
