View Income Activity in the Income Object

In the Position Viewer workspace, the Income object displays income activity, including amortization, for a position.
To view income activity related to a specific position:
In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Reports > Position Viewer.
Select the position you want to view.
In the Reports list, select Income.
You see the tabs that apply to the Income object.Select a tab, or if you cannot see all the tabs at once, you can:Â
- Click the down arrow at the left of the tabs to show a list of available tabs, and then select the tab you want to view.
- Click the left/right arrows at the right of the tabs to move forward or backwards through the tabs, and then select the tab you want to view.Â
When there is viewable activity for a specific tab, Data Loaded (green circle) appears next to the tab name to indicate that data is available. If the system did not yet check whether data is available, a question mark appears next to the tab name until you click the tab.Click a row to view the entire contents of that row.
For example, clicking the Income Lots tab displays daily income activity at the lot level for the selected position. Key fields within the Income object are Accr Delta Base and Accr Delta Local, which display the daily accrual factor for the selected lot. Note when researching income issues within Position Viewer, you may need to change the Income Report Start Date field on the Query Positions window to research items from a previous year.
Income Object Tabs
The following are the tabs associated with the Income object.

Income Lots | Displays lot level income activity, including daily income activity at the lot level for the selected position. |

Income Cancel Open | Displays canceled income from open transactions. |
Income Cancel Close | Displays canceled income from close transactions. |
Income Sub Lots | Displays sub lot level income activity, including daily income activity at the sub lot level for the selected position. You can use this tab to view term loan facility level income broken down by underlying term loan contracts. |
Income Sub Cancel Open | Displays canceled income from open transactions at the sub lot level. You can use this tab to view cancelled term loan facility level income broken down by underlying term loan contracts. |
Income Object Example
In the following example, after you select the Income option, the Position Viewer displays income activity, including amortization.
Within the Income object, you can click the Income Lots tab to display daily income activity, at the lot level, for the selected position. In the following figure, you can see in the Income Lots tab that on July 11, there are two separate lots.
The Income object shows the accrual details for each of these tots. You can double-click a selected row to view the entire contents of that row.
The key data element in the Income object is the Accr Delta (Base and/or Local) column value, which displays the daily accrual factor for the selected lot.
When you research Income object issues from a previous year in Position Viewer, you may need to change the Income Report Start Date field value in the Search Details pane.
In the previous figure, the Income Report Start Date field value has a default value of 1 Jan 2017. If you want to research income activity from 2016 or earlier, you need to change this date and resubmit the query.

The Accr Spread fields are populated when the account has Coupon Spreading enabled.
