Intraday Valuation Comparison Report

The Intraday Valuation Comparison report utilizes the existing 2A – 7 process and allows you to review the amortized cost, actual valuation, and actual market value of each security held in a fund when you use intraday NAV processing. You can use this report to ensure securities are valued correctly. For more information, see https://eagledocs.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/resumedraft.action?draftId=1710456874.

Prior to submitting the Intraday Valuation Comparison report (or the 2A – 7 Pricing report), you must use the 2A-7 preprocess to load prices to the work tables used for the report.

Use the 2A – 7 Preprocess

Prior to submitting the Intraday Valuation Comparison report (or the 2A – 7 Pricing report), you must store prices to the work tables used to create the report. If you are using the 2A – 7 preprocess to load prices to the work tables used for the report for funds that use intraday NAV processing, you must run the 2A – 7 preprocess for each NAV sequence.

To store prices to the work tables used by the Intraday Valuation Comparison report:

  1. In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Accounting Reports > Compliance Reports > 2A – 7 > 2A – 7 Preprocess.
You see the 2A – 7 Preprocess panel.

  2. Enter the Entity ID or Entity Name value for the portfolio, sector portfolio, composite portfolio, or Master Fund you want to process.
In the Nav Processing Rule field, you see the intraday NAV processing rule for the selected entity.

  3. In the NAV Sequence Name field, select the name of the NAV sequence to process.
For example, NAV1, NAV2. The Nav ID field displays the numeric sequence associated with the Nav Sequence Name you selected.

  4. Enter the Effective Date value for the prices to store.
    The default is today's date.

  5. Click Submit.
You see the Executing Submit dialog box. When the event completes, you see the Event Close Activity result and the prices are stored to the 2A-7 report work tables for the entity and effective date selected.

Create the Intraday Valuation Comparison Report

After the prices have been stored to the work tables, you can create the Intraday Valuation Comparison report.

To create the Intraday Valuation Comparison report:
