About Ledger Granularity
Ledger granularity provides additional granularity for Eagle's core and custom ledgers so that you can report on ledger activity at a more detailed level. Two stages of ledger granularity are available. Holding term granularity, built into the STAR core ledger posting process, breaks out accounts by holding term classifications of long term, short term, or cash equivalent. Custom granularity, based on the custom chart of account that you map to STAR's core accounts, breaks out accounts based on securities or certain security master attributes.
