About the Composite Analysis Report
The following information can be helpful when using the Composite Analysis report:
Only Performance Composites (ACOM entity types) or Lists made up of Performance Composites can be selected in the Profile for this report type. Aggregate type Composites are not supported (Entity type = COMP).
You must always group using the Composite ID or Name internal field attribute, not Entity ID or Name.
The grouping rule should only contain one level of grouping on Composite ID or Name.
Only Total Level (perf_rollup_returns_id = 1) data is extracted for use in Composite Analysis fields regardless of which performance model is selected in the profile.
Date Ranges (date rules) must be selected in the profile.
The Default dictionary for either Composite, benchmark or Constituent data is supported in this report. Use this only if the data is stored using different performance models for the different entity types.
Constituent data must be lined up in the same column/field of PERF_SEC_RETURNS for accurate composite return and dispersion statistics (detail calculation fields to merge returns is not supported).
There is no concept of Entity history for this report – RULESDBO.ENTITY_RANGE_DETAILS table is used for all Composite/Constituent relationships using actual effective dates all the time.
