About Packaged Content

The Reference Data Center composites, validates, and cleanses security reference data from external vendors and internal sources, creating one or more gold copies that downstream systems can leverage.

Packaged content includes data strategies, fields, validations, and reports. It is created by Eagle and bundled with the product to reduce implementation time lines without dependency on release cycles.

  •  Data Strategies. Eagle provides data strategies for each supported security type — equities, fixed income, derivatives. You can modify these data strategies or create your own for different processing or user-defined securities. For example, you may want to validate analytics data before and after compositing, however, you may only want to composite and enrich ratings data.
  •  Reports. Eagle provides the following reports:
    • Data Strategy report. The Data Strategy report provides field level information on data strategies, such as fields, databases, tables, field group release levels, and so on. Data strategies govern the compositing, enrichment, validation, and release of security reference data.
    • Securities Without a Data Strategy report. The Securities Without a Data Strategy report lists securities not currently associated to a data strategy.
    • User Audit report. The User Audit report shows the manual changes your business users have made to securities and exceptions.
    • Security Audit report. The Security Audit report shows all the data changes.
    • Release Status Detail report. The Release Status Detail report shows the current release status at the individual security level.
    • Release Status Summary report. The Release Status Summary report shows the current release status grouped by gold copy and data strategy.
