Manage Exchange Code to Region Code Map

Exchange Code to Region Code Map allows you to add exchanges in and out of Regions. You can create, edit, duplicate and delete exchange code to region code maps.

Create Exchange Code to Region Code Map

To create an exchange code to region code map:

  1. From the left navigation, selectĀ SetupĀ >Ā MetadataĀ >Ā Codes.
    You see the Codes workspace with the list of available code categories.Ā By default, the Codes workspace opens with the Code/Code Values tab.

  2. Click theĀ Exchange Code to Region Code MapĀ tab and then clickĀ Create New on Home tab.
    You see the Create New Exchange Code to Region Code Map window.

  3. Click the Region Code drop-down to select either Region Code/Region Code Description and accordingly in the second drop-down list, select the required region code/region code description to which the exchange code is to be added.
    You see the available list of Region Codes/Region Codes Description.

  4. Click the ExchangeĀ Code drop-down to select either Exchange Code/Exchange Code Description and accordingly in the second drop-down list, select the required exchange code/exchange code description to add it to the Region Code.

  5. ClickĀ Save.
    You see a confirmation message indicating the changes are saved.

  6. ClickĀ OK.Ā 
    You see the new Exchange codeĀ to Region code map is displayed in the list of code to region code maps.

Edit Exchange Code to Region Code Map

ToĀ edit an exchange code to region code maps:

  1. From the left navigation, selectĀ SetupĀ >Ā MetadataĀ >Ā Codes.
    You see the Codes workspace with the list of available code categories.Ā By default, the Codes workspace opens with the Code/Code Values tab.

  2. UnderĀ Exchange Code to Region Code MapĀ tab, select the exchange code to region codeĀ map you want to edit and then clickĀ Edit on Home tab.
    You see theĀ Edit Exchange Code to Region Code Map window.

  3. Edit the Region/Exchange mapping selections and then clickĀ Save.
    You see a confirmation message indicating the changes are saved.

  4. ClickĀ OK.Ā 
    You see theĀ revised Exchange code to Region code mapĀ displayed in the list of code to region code maps.

Duplicate Exchange Code to Region Code Map

ToĀ duplicate an exchange code to region code maps:

  1. From the left navigation, selectĀ SetupĀ >Ā MetadataĀ >Ā Codes.
    You see the Codes workspace with the list of available code categories.Ā By default, the Codes workspace opens with the Code/Code Values tab.

  2. UnderĀ Exchange Code to Region Code MapĀ tab, select the exchange code to region codeĀ map you want toĀ duplicate and then clickĀ Duplicate on Home tab.
    You see theĀ Edit Exchange Code to Region Code Map window.

  3. Update the fields following the steps outlined in Create Exchange Code to Region Code Map.

  4. ClickĀ OK.Ā 
    You see theĀ revised Exchange code to Region code mapĀ displayed in the list of code to region code maps.

Delete Exchange Code to Region Code Map

ToĀ delete an exchange code to region code maps:

  1. From the left navigation, selectĀ SetupĀ >Ā MetadataĀ >Ā Codes.
    You see the Codes workspace with the list of available code categories.Ā By default, the Codes workspace opens with the Code/Code Values tab.

  2. UnderĀ Exchange Code to Region Code MapĀ tab, select the exchange code to region codeĀ map you want toĀ delete and thenĀ clickĀ Delete on Home tab.
    You see a confirmation box asking you to verify and confirm deletion.

  3. ClickĀ OK.
    You see the Exchange code to Region code map is deleted from the system.
