Reporting Ledger Data from Eagle Accounting

Data Mart supports the reporting of general ledger data from the Eagle Accounting solution (STAR). An OLAP process builds ledger fields in the Fund Summary table, group level tables, and the Ledger Details table. The GL Detail Posting table of the LEDGER database is used as the data source. A related STAR-to-PACE process transfers ledger data from Eagle Accounting to the data warehouse. In principle, Data Mart can support data loaded from another accounting system as long as that load populates the same fields as STAR-to-PACE. You should attempt to do this only in consultation with Eagle Global Professional Services.

The Filter grouping type in PACE reporting is supported in Data Mart exclusively for use against Ledger data. These filter-based groupings allow you to aggregate general ledger accounts in a flexible manner to support any grouping scheme for reporting ledger data.
