All requests processed through the EJM framework follow the same standard process flow. The EJM framework allows you to review and troubleshoot EJM requests if any processing issues are detected.

Note

Most of the screen prints in this section show triaging using Message Center Console, but similar triage can be done in Automation Center or EJM Monitoring Tool.

The following are steps in the standard process flow for EJM requests:

  1. Read and process the Control Message (RTR) and route it as needed.
  2. Publish the acknowledgement (ACK).

  3. Do one of the following:

    • Download the input data file, OR
    • Run the extracts, OR
    • Execute the Eagle warehouse event, OR
    • Execute the Eagle Accounting schedule, OR
    • Execute the EJM process.
  4. Publish the Task Status Response (TSR).

NOTE

As part of each step, the internal orchestration tables in PACE_MASTERDBO are updated with appropriate status.
