About the Control Message Task Parameters

The Task Parameters node of a control message uses the <actionType> parameter to specify the type of execution involved with each requested action. For example, you can specify the use of multiple data extraction interfaces and specify the relevant <taskParameter> options for each requested Message Center service, depending on the data interface and file types involved.

You can define the following action type parameters:

  • ACQUIRE – to request one or more data loads to the EAGLE data warehouse using given data interfaces.

  • EXTRACT – to request a single data extract from the EAGLE data warehouse using a given data interface.

  • Since users commonly search for information on Extracts, we have pulled all Extract related information into its own section

  • STAREventName – to request the execution of a STAR schedule event using the name of the schedule.

  • PACEEventName – to request then execution of a PACE schedule event using the name of the schedule.
