Create Risk Based Capital Factors

Eagle provides Risk Based Capital (RBC) factors via a batch uploader. These factors need only be updated if they change from one year to the next. You must load the factors to the ISTAR database for use by Eagle STAR for Insurance. You can use a Data Uploader. You can add and maintain RBC factors individually using Eagle Insurance panels.

You can also edit, delete, and list RBC factors.

To add RBC factors for a specific accounting year:

  1. In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Insurance > Configuration > RBC Factors > Create RBC Factors.
You see the Create RBC Factors panel.

    Create RBC Factors panel
  2. Complete the options on the panel.

  3. Click Submit to update the RBC factor for the year, schedule, and NAIC designation.
