The Position Viewer is a query tool that allows accounting operations teams and other Eagle Accounting users to quickly query and research accounting data. It includes the following position research queries.

Cost/Cash/Income Positions

Allows you to search and review current position data in the ESTAR database and archive cost BLOB. Provides several options to search position data and allows searching for data that pertains to the current entity. Search types include:

Shows the accounting data for three areas.

  • Cost object (MTSTMT/Q_POSITION)
  • Cash object (MTSTMT/Q_HISTORY_CASH)
  • Income activity table (MTQUERY/Q_HISTORY_INCOME)
Portfolio Valuation


Allows you to search and review portfolio valuations by entity and trade end date.

  • Queries estar portfolio valuation table (MTQUERY/QRY_PORT_VAL)
Ledger Reports

Allows you to search and review ledger balances and activity for trial balances, financial statements, and ledger balances.

Uses the following events:

  • MTQUERY/Q_LEDGER_BAL_EDT_DB
  • MTQUERY/QUERY_ENTITY_LEDGER_PROFILES
  • MTQUERY/Q_BAL_SHEET_VIA_DB
  • MTQUERY/Q_BAL_SHEET_FIN_VIA_DB
  • MTQUERY/Q_BAL_SHEET_AND_NAV_DB
  • MTQUERY/Q_LEDGER_BAL_EDT_DB
  • MTQUERY/Q_VIRTUAL_ACTIVITY
Wash Sale Adjustments

Other Income/Expense

Allows you to search and review other income/expense data in the database.

You can query data for the current Entity, Account Basis, Transaction Status (Traded or Settled), and Report Type (Accounting Date, Posting Date, Trade Date, and Contractual Settlement Date).

  • Queries cash object for a date (MTSTMT/Q_POSITION_ASOF_CASH)
Dividend Income/Expense

Allows you to search and review dividend-related data in the database.

You can search for data by the current Entity, Account Basis, All or Individual Securities, and Report Type (Accounting Date, Posting Date, Trade Date, and Contractual Settlement Date).

  • Queries cash object for a date (MTSTMT/Q_POSITION_ASOF_CASH)
Interest Receivable/Payable

Allows you to search and review receivable/payable information.

Query options include Entity and Report Type (Accounting Date, Posting Date, Trade Date, and Contractual Settlement Date).

  • Queries accounting income data for a date (MTSTMT/Q_INCOME_POSITION_ASOF)
Unsettled Transactions

Allows you to search and review unsettled transactions using an entity and start date.

  • Queries PACE position tables (MTQUERY/SP_POSITION_QUERY_ENT)
PACE as of Positions

Allows you to search and review current as-of position data in the Eagle data warehouse.

You can search data for the current entity.

  • Queries PACE position tables (MTQUERY/SP_POSITION_QUERY)
  • Queries PACE trade activity table (MTQUERY/SP_POSITION_QUERY)
  • Queries PACE open lots

PACE as of Positions - Price
Preview

Allows you to search and review current as of position price data in the Eagle data warehouse.

You can search data for the current entity or entity/security combination.

  • Queries PACE position table and joins to pricing table so that you can verify up to date market value prior to running URGL process or STAR2PACE Batch (MTQUERY/POSITION_PRICE_QUERY)

PACE as of Position - One
Portfolio All Securities

Allows you to search and review current as-of position data in the Eagle data warehouse.

You can search data for the current entity and accounting basis.

  • Queries PACE position tables (MTQUERY/SP_POSITION_QUERY_ENT)

PACE as of Positions - One
Security All Portfolios

Allows you to search and review current as-of position data in the Eagle data warehouse.

You can search data for the current entity and accounting basis.
