Add Master Fund Entities
Master fund entities are designed to track transactions and trades for mutual funds that involve capital stock and NAV processing. In the Master Fund Setup panel, you can manually add a master fund entity. When you add a master fund entity, the system creates an entity record, a record for the entity/primary accounting basis, and accounting periods for the entity/primary accounting basis.
If you want to add an additional accounting basis to a master fund entity, use the Add a Basis to a Portfolio panel. See the Manage Accounting Bases page for details. You can also change master fund entity information. See the Change Master Fund Entities/Sectors page for details.
