The Potential As of Ledger Activity report analyzes the transactions posted in the current month end period but effective on or before the prior month end to determine impact on the financial statement.

The systematic month end close for funds monitored by Eagle Accounting for potential as of activity monitors any ledger transaction after a fund's specified month end.

Grid report views available for this report include:

  •  As of General Ledger Summary with summary by asset and liability.
  • As of General Ledger Detail with details by ledger account.
  • As of General Ledger Transaction Detail, with details by transaction.

Advanced report views available for this report include:

  • Summary with summary by asset and liability.
  • Detail with details by ledger account.
  • Transaction Detail, with details by transaction.

To create the Potential As of Ledger Activity report:

  1. From the Accounting Center window, click Reporting in the left navigation.
  2. Double click Investment Accounting, Mutual Fund Reports, and Potential As of Ledger Activity Report.
    You see the Potential As of Ledger Activity Report panel.
  3. Complete the fields on the Potential As of Ledger Activity Report panel.
  4. Click Submit and then click Advanced Report or Classic Grid Report.
    The report appears on your desktop for the view selected.

A definition of the options on the Potential As of Ledger Activity panel follows.

Query Potential As Of Activity

The following table describes each option on the  panel.

  • Entity ID. Specifies a portfolio, sector portfolio, composite portfolio, or Master Fund by the entity ID of the entity.
  • Entity Name. Specifies a portfolio, sector portfolio, composite portfolio, or Master Fund by name of the entity.
  • Accounting Basis. Specifies the entity accounting basis. For example, USTAX, GAAP, or IFRS.
  • Accounting Date. Displays the accounting date for your report results for the entity selected.
  • Start Date. Displays the start date for your report results for the entity selected.
  • End Date. Specifies the ending date for your report results. The default is today's date.
  • Last Closed Month End Date. Specifies the last close month end date for your report results. The default is today's date.

Entity Lookup Results

  • Potential As Of Activity Business Days. Displays the potential as of activity business days for the entity selected.
  • Potential As Of Activity Date. Displays the potential as of activity date for the entity selected.
