View Legal Entities and Their Exceptions

In the Reference Data Center workspaces, you can view the data types that have gone through compositing and validation and the exceptions that result from the validations.

View by Legal Entities and their Exceptions

You can view data types by legal entities and their exceptions.

To view by legal entities and their exceptions:

  1. In the Reference Desk workspace, in the left navigation pane, click Legal Entity.
    You see the Legal Entity workspace with all the available detail data.

  2. Click the View Data By drop- down and then select Legal Entities and their Exceptions.

  3. Complete the required search criteria and click the Search button.
    NOTE: You must filter by gold copy source and your choice of As of Date or Process Date. You can optionally filter by Error Code, Data Strategy, Issuer Name, Authorization Status, Issuer ID and Release Status.  

You see the search results based on the criteria you selected. The left panel displays the Gold Copy Summary for all Data Types. Results include the Gold Copy Status, Number of Exceptions and Authorization Status. The right panel displays the Legal Entity Details Data. Results include the Effective Date, Release Status, Issuer Name, Process Date, Last Updated, Last Updated by and Data Strategy. You see the legal entities result data at the top of the Legal Entity search results area and the exceptions associated with the selected legal entity displayed at the bottom of the panel.

 

View by Exceptions and their Associated Legal Entities

You can view data types by exceptions and their associated legal entities. Exception result data is displayed in five tabs: Issuer, Analytics, Ratings, Relationships, and Roles. Each tab includes Code, Severity, Error, Business Description, and Resolution and Source Information for the exception.

To view by exceptions and associated legal entities:

  1. From the Reference Desk workspace, click Legal Entities in the left navigation.

  2. You see the Legal Entity workspace with all the available detail data.

  3. Click the View Data By drop -down and then select Exceptions and associated Legal Entities.

  4. Complete the required search criteria and click the Search button.
    NOTE: You must filter by gold copy source and your choice of As of Date or Process Date. You can optionally filter by Error Code, Data Strategy, Issuer Name, Authorization Status, Issuer ID and Release Status. 

You see the Exceptions result data at the top of the Legal Entity search results area and the legal entity result data associated with the selected legal entity displayed at the bottom of the panel.
