Create Global Attribution Group Dialog Box Options

Option

Description

Name

Specifies a name for the Global Attribution Group. There is a 12 character limit.

Comments

Provides descriptive comments. This field is optional.

Precision

Specifies how many digits are displayed after the decimal point. For example, the number 4.12 has two digits after the decimal point.

Do not allow others to edit this field

Determines whether others can edit the Global Attribution Group.

Displays the Reporting Period Options dialog box, allowing you to define the reporting period for the Global Attribution Group. 
Options include:

  • I would like to link returns in the prior. Defines the reporting period by linking returns for the specified number of days, months, quarters, or years.

  • I would like to link the returns between. Defines the reporting period by linking returns between any two specified dates. Select this option if you plan to use the Link Period Override option on the report profile.

  • I would like to link the returns using the Date Rule. Defines the reporting period for the specified date rule. Select this option if you plan to use the Link Period Override (Date Rule) option on the report profile.

  • I want to calculate. Defines the reporting period by calculating returns based on Fiscal Year to Date, Inception Year to Date, Month to Date, Quarter to Date, Week to Date, and Year to Date.
    You can select any of these options. However, the examples assume you selected the I would like to link the returns using the Date Rule option. For more information about these options, see Performance Reporting and Analysis.

Field Options

Specifies field options. Options include:

  • Make available to other report types

  • Specify Category

  • Define Inventory attributes

  • Define Field Identifier

  • Publish

Analysis

Shows the type of attribution you are configuring is Brinson-Fachler.

Options & Field Map Field

Displays the Field Map Selector dialog box, which allows you to view, create, or edit the field map.
