Multi-Manager Attribution Analysis
You can use Multi-Manager Attribution to attribute the performance of an account managed by multiple managers, for example, a pension plan or a fund of funds. A Multi-Manager account is composed of a hierarchy of sub-accounts and managers that composite up to a total. A pension plan is a good example of this type of hierarchical entity structure, but is not the only such hierarchical entity structure. Unlike a single, actively managed portfolio, a Multi-Manager account is almost always a composite of other sub composite entities and portfolios.
