Run Message Center Analysis Reports

In the Metadata Manager, you can run the Message Center analysis report that extracts totals and underlying data for the Message Center streams related metadata. You can run this report for all Message Center streams, or for selected streams.

Run the Message Center Report for All Streams

To run the Message Center Streams - All report:

1. From any Metadata Manager window, click Analysis, select Message Center and click Message Center Streams - All.
   You see the Save Analysis Results dialog box that allows you to select a folder and file name where the Excel file with the analysis data will be stored.
2. Enter the folder and file name for the Excel file.
3. Click Save.
   You see the Analysis Results window with the Summary view as the default.
4. To access the actual Excel file, click Open File.

Run the Message Center Report for Selected Streams

To run the Message Center Streams - Selected report:

1. From any Metadata Manager window, click Types in the navigation path, or click the Types bottom tab to display types in the workspace.
2. In the left navigation, click Message Center and double click to select the Message Stream type in the workspace.
   You see the item list for the type you selected.
3. Click to select a specific message stream. To select several rows, press and hold the CTRL key.
4. Click Analysis, select Message Center and click Message Center Streams - Selected.
   You see the Save Analysis Results dialog box that allows you to select a folder and file name where the Excel file with the analysis data will be stored.
5. Enter the folder and file name for the Excel file.
6. Click Save.
   You see the Analysis Results window with the Summary view as the default.
7. To access the actual Excel file, click Open File.
