This tutorial shows you how to publish a solution to an Eagle environment and make a test run as well. You may find this feature usefulĀ when you want to test minor changes in aĀ solution.

How to Use the Debug Tool

The Debug Tool can be called by clickingĀ Publish.



A window with options pops up(in our sample we use all options). This option available for MC workflows:

  1. Select file.

  2. Publish solution and Run.

  3. Run solution(if it was published earlier)


After clickingĀ Run,Ā the process of publishing the solutionĀ starts.
Eventually, a window with options for a test runĀ pops up.

Scenarios of the Debug Tool Usage

1. If the project can be run by sending a control message (CM), there will be another Run form,This option available for EJM workflows. Select theĀ CM ParametersĀ tab. Here we can edit CM parameters :

2. If the project is run by sending a file into a specific stream, select theĀ Data FilesĀ option, chooseĀ  the file. ClickĀ Run.

Tracking the Project Execution

After clickingĀ Run,Ā the Monitoring Tool application window will appear. Depending onĀ its size, the projectĀ will be displayed in the process window either at onceĀ or after you click theĀ RefreshĀ button.
