Manage STAR to PACE Direct for Month End Processing

When you use month end processing, you can use STAR to PACE Direct to transfer month end accounting data at the entity/accounting basis level. This allows you to report on that data with reports based on the Eagle data warehouse.

When you use the following STAR to PACE Direct panels, you can set the Date Type field to Month End Accounting Date and End Date to your month end accounting date. The system can assign the month end date record a source of MSTARDIRECT when you:

• Use the Transfer Data - Batch panel.

• Transfer cash balances in the Transfer Data - Delta panel.

• Use the Transfer Data - Delta Manual panel.

• Use the Roll Positions and Open Lots panel.

• Use the Process Revaluation of Positions and Open Lots panel.

• Use the Transfer STAR General Ledger Balances panel to copy general ledger balances to the Eagle data warehouse on a daily or monthly basis, after completion of scheduled end of day processing. The system stores the balances separately for each accounting date and month end accounting date.
