In Eagle Accounting, an entity is another name for a portfolio. It identifies a collection of investments owned by the same individual, corporation, partnership, or trust. An entity tracks your trade activity and maintains account positions, as well as all income and expenses. Entities that you set up for use with Eagle's accounting solutions require specialized settings that identify the desired accounting behavior for each entity. For ease of use, both Portfolio Data Center (PDC) and Accounting Center allow you to access the entry panels used to set up and maintain the following types of portfolios and portfolio rules for use with Eagle Accounting.
