Before you can use Reference Data Center, you must complete the configuration of the administrators, management, and business users of the system. You can also review and customize the rules and metadata that support the compositing process and customize the user experience for the maintenance of securities data.

To configure Reference Data Center you:

  •  Set up new / existing users with Reference Data Center roles and permissions.
  •  Migrate security data strategy packaged content for initial use.
  •  Set up metadata, including fields, field attributes, code values, data sources, date rules, and source hierarchy rules.
  •  Set up data strategies to customize securities compositing.
  •  Enable Security Detail tabs to view/maintain securities data.
  •  Configure system settings to enable/disable software features.
