Eagle is introducing prebuilt content to streamline the implementations of the Data Quality Monitor. The intent is to provide a quick implementation of baseline features and functionality of this new module. The prebuilt content will encompass more than 31 new validation checks along with an associated rule to help decrease clients’ time to realize value in their Eagle investment. The Data Quality Monitor prebuilt components are designed to work in conjunction with Automation Center (and integrated scheduler), Commit Journal, and the Performance Toolkit and its collection of prebuilt components and the documented workflow for use in new installations of Eagle Performance solutions.
The installation and setup of the Data Quality Monitor Toolkit includes several phases. You perform pre-installation Tasks, you install the Data Quality Monitor prebuilt components, and then you set up/integrate the Process Manager workflow to include the Data Quality Monitor event(s).
The Data Quality Monitor Toolkit provides a complete solution to monitor and validate positions, cash activity, securities, FX rates, performance for portfolios and composites. The Toolkit includes pre-configured validation checks, rules, and events that leverage existing toolkit field attributes, interfaces, performance models and calculations. By sharing the metadata with other components of the Performance Toolkit provides an out-of-the-box solution.
While Eagle offers several methods for scheduling and running the components provided as part of the Toolkit, the setup approach described in this guide uses Process Manager to automate and monitor your Data Quality Monitor workflow in conjunction with your Performance workflows. You can use this approach as a model and adjust it to meet your organization’s unique needs.
Topics Covered in this section:
The Data Quality Monitor Toolkit requires an entity to be set up to use the Migration Wizard to load the packaged content. The Data Quality Monitor Toolkit also requires a Performance Model to be set up to load the packaged content using the Migration Wizard.
