In Eagle's investment accounting solution, an entity is another name for a portfolio. An entity identifies a collection of investments owned by the same individual, corporation, partnership, or trust. It tracks trade activity and maintains account positions, as well as all income and expenses.
For convenience and ease of use, you can use both Portfolio Data Center (PDC) and Accounting Center to access the entry panels used to set up and maintain entities for use with Eagle Accounting.
