Purge and Archive Modes

The purge and archive stream can work in two modes: LISTONLY and STANDARD.

  • STANDARD mode is used by default. If the PurgeArchiveMode taskParameter node value is empty or missing, then STANDARD mode is enabled.
  • LISTONLY mode is used to show which files are going to be deleted, moved or archived. Use this mode to check files and actions applied to them before running purge and archive in the STARDARD mode.

The mode can be set in the CM as a taskParameter node PurgeArchiveMode OR in w_config_custom.inc as a W_PA_MODE variable.
To receive information after running the LISTONLY mode, use the Message Center Console Status tab or/and open the purge and archive process log file.
