The Eagle Portal Administrator provides you with the URL for the Eagle Portal server, your user name, and the password. The Eagle Portal Administrator also determines the default view that you see when you log in to the Eagle Portal. If you have questions about logging in to the Eagle Portal, contact your Eagle Portal Administrator.

To log in to the Eagle Portal:

  1. Enter the Eagle Portal URL in the address field of your browser and click Go.
You see the Eagle Portal Login window.
  2. Enter your user name in the Username field and enter your password in the Password field.
  3. Click Log In.
You see the Eagle Portal main window with Dashboards as the default view.

The default view is set by the Eagle Portal Administrator. The Eagle Portal Administrator configures most of the settings and defaults, however, if you have been granted permissions, you can customize several important system settings directly in the Eagle Portal. With special permissions, you can also help troubleshoot issues by using the Impersonate User feature typically handled by the Eagle Portal Administrator.

  4. To log out, click the Log out link in the upper right corner of the Eagle Portal's main window.
If you are logged in to the Eagle Portal, but are not working actively, you may exceed the session timeout period defined by the Eagle Portal Administrator and you will be logged out. You must log in to the Eagle Portal again to continue working.
You can see the last time you logged in, and the last attempted login time, at the bottom of the Eagle Portal's main window.
