 SECURITY Database
Security information is stored in the SECURITY database.
If you plan to use the Performance Analysis report to generate results in languages in addition to English, you may also need to load multi-lingual security data. For more information, see Performance Analysis and Reporting.
SECURITY_MASTER Table
Security characteristics like the asset class, investment type, country code, industry sector, and coupon are frequently used to group securities for performance calculations.
The Performance return calculator accesses the SECURITY_MASTER table and related tables in the SECURITY database to retrieve these characteristics. This data can be stored on a historical basis using the SECURITY_MASTER history features of the data warehouse.
