About the Benchmark Assignment Default Message Stream

The Benchmark Assignment default message stream is used to establish and update benchmark assignments, which are stored in the ENTITY_DETAIL and ENTITY_DETAIL_HISTORY tables.

The information stored includes composite constituents for COMPs, aggregate constituents for aggregates, and sub portfolio constituents for sub portfolios.

Benchmark assignments are loaded using the following streams:

• eagle_default_in_csv_benchmark_assignment

• eagle_default_in_star_benchmark_assignment

Sample records, required data fields, as well as panels, binds, and stored procedures for the Benchmark Assignment stream are described in the following pages.

You can insert and update a benchmark assignment record for the current date or the historical date, one record per primary assignment or secondary assignment.
