Set Up Eagle Users for a Fund Approval Hierarchy

In User Administration, in the Center Roles workspace, when you create or maintain Eagle center roles for Control Center, there are several center role options related to the use of a fund approval hierarchy.

For detailed information about setting up Eagle center roles and then assigning those centers and center roles to the appropriate users, see User Administration. Eagle offers two default center roles for Control Center. CC ADMIN RULE provides full permissions to Control Center. CC USER ROLE provides permissions to Control Center. For details on creating new center roles or copying center roles to create a new role, see Manage Eagle Center Roles.

Pay special attention to:

  • Role Name Field. Specifies the role name associated with the fund approval hierarchy. For more information, see Manage User Roles.

  • Allow Approval of Sign-Off Results Check Box. Indicates whether you can approve sign-off results that ensure approval roles 1 and 2 completed the review for a fund if you use status sign-off edit tests. For more information, see Manage Status Sign-Offs.

  • Allow Final Approval Override. Determines whether the user can use the Final Approval option and the Final Approval of All option to approve edits. These are high level Administrator type elections that override Fund Approval Hierarchy (FAH)/Dual Approval for Final Approval or systematic clearance of sign-off edits to allow for fund closure.
