Cash Based Dividend Income Recognition Reporting

  • Do Not Report Dividends When Due. The report does not display any cash dividend entitlement events where you recognize the dividends on settlement date.

Ledger Compatible View

Allows you to select a view that supports Ledger Subledger (LSL) balance reporting. Options include:

  • Ledger Compatible View. The report uses the RPT_DIV_INCOME reporting event type. This event returns the correct ledger compatible values only when you set the Show Cancels field to Yes. This event has Summary LSL and Detailed LSL Advanced profiles, which differ from the legacy Advanced profiles. It also uses the new ESTAR.ESTAR_TRD_CASH_ACT and ESTAR.ESTAR_SETLD_CASH_ACT tables, moving away from the legacy cash tables. This event does not display Income Breakage (tags 10136, 10137), Principal Breakage (tags 10134, 10135), Gain Currency (tag 198), Loss Currency (tag 199), Target Event Id (tag 26), or Posting Plan (tag 913) apart from other profile generated tags, which have tag values starting at 64000. In the case of dividends with reclaims, the Advanced Report detail tab shows this reclaim component twice, once on the cash dividend record and the other on the reclaim record, although the Summary tab and dividend income ledger account correctly suppresses the reclaim amount from the reclaim record. The report includes Return of Capital (ROC) if it adjusts dividend income.

  • Default View. Default. The report uses the RPT_TRADED_CASH_ACT reporting event type. The report displays the legacy Dividend Income Report output.

Syncsend Engine Router

(Hidden) Indicates whether the system uses the Accounting engine or a report service to process the report results. Options include:

  • RPT. Default. If you enable use of report services, the system processes the panel using the related report service. Report services offer improved report performance. Otherwise, if you do not enable use of report services, the system processes the panel using the Accounting engine.

  • Null value or a value other than RPT. The system processes the panel using the Accounting engine.
