View Event Status Information
In the Monitor workspace, you can quickly locate and view a specific group of events, filter to show events that have actually run, all events that are scheduled and waiting to run, or all events that have a specific Effective Date.
To view event status information:
In Automation Desk, in the left navigation pane, click Monitor > Jobs/Events.
You see the Monitor Workspace.Click the Event Type drop down and select an event.
To view only the event status, unselect the Message Stream Process, EJM Process, and Job event types.To further narrow down your search, you can filter by Event/Job Name, as well as by Time Interval and Event Status.
Note that events that are displayed with the status of Waiting are waiting for their start time. Events that are displayed with the status of Did Not Run have encountered a problem as listed in the Status Info column.To view events that actually ran, leave the default as Actual Start Date Time. To view all events that are scheduled and waiting to run, click to select Scheduled Start Date Time. To view all events with a specific Effective Date, click to select Effective Date.
Select the Effective Date by clicking the calendar icon next to From/To date and time. To specify the date via macros, click the calendar icon next to From/To date and time, click the macro drop down, and select a macro. Select the time and click OK.
Select additional search criteria, if needed, and click the green Search button.
In the search results, click the event that you wish to view.
You see bottom panes with the information for the event.For continuous events, in the left bottom pane, you see the Event Summary. In the right bottom pane, double click the Event Details row to display the Event Execution Details dialog box. Click the X in the top right to close the dialog box.
To display execution details for all processed occurrences of the continuous event, click the upward arrow in the bottom right pane. In the Events Manager Execution Details dialog box, search and view the appropriate reports. To close the full pane mode, click the X in the Events Manager Execution Details bottom tab.
For non-continuous events, in the left bottom pane, click the Dependencies, and SLA tabs to view the messages, dependencies, and service level agreement statuses, respectively. Review the details in the right bottom pane.
To display the event's execution details in the full pane mode, click in the right bottom pane. To close the full pane mode, click the X in the Execution Details bottom tab.
To export the data displayed in the workspace, click the Distribution drop down, click Export and select the file format.
To refresh the data displayed in the workspace, click the Refresh drop down and select Screen.
