To process multi-leg swap trades, Eagle Accounting must be set up to allow duplicate IDs by following the steps below. You may need to follow the same steps for Forwards or for any other case where you want to allow multiple securities to share the same identifier. This is different than reusing an identifier that has been reissued to a new security after the original security matured or expired, which is explained here: Reuse Cross Reference Identifiers Processing Notes.
- Open Add Security Cross Reference Configuration
- Populate Xreference Security ID Type (1234) with the Primary Asset ID Type (1432) that will be used for multi-leg swaps (i.e.
INTERNAL) - Populate Xref Qualifier (9111) with
Duplicate - Populate Investment Type (11) with
DERV (SWAPS)and click Submit
