Calculate IRR
The Internal Rate of Return is a measure of the ending intermediate cash flow's growth over the beginning value. The rate is constant over the measurement period — it assumes that each invested dollar grows at the same rate, regardless of when it was invested.
Eagle provides two methods for calculating IRR. You can include Internal Rate of Return fields in Performance Calculation reports to base IRR calculations on holdings data or can use Performance IRR Analysis fields in Performance Analysis reports to base IRR calculations on PERFORM database data.
If you are creating a new report, Eagle recommends using Performance IRR Analysis fields for this purpose. For more information, see Performance Analysis and Reporting.
