The Execution Logs section of Data Mart provides a concise statement of build errors and a list of all funds affected by any OLAP process that has an error.

To view errors in the Data Mart:

  1. Click the Execution Log icon in the left panel of the Data Mart window.
You see the Execution Logs grid.
  2. Select one of the builds listed in the Execution Logs grid and then click the Show Errors link.
You see the Data Mart Execution Diagnostics dialog box as shown in the following figure. This example was generated at the Data Mart Manager Engine level, so it shows errors generated by any Model Manager Engine that was invoked by the selected Data Mart build.

  3. The Data Mart Execution Diagnostics dialog box displays information showing the error types you have selected in the Select Types of Diagnostics to Display section. You can select:
    • Show Errors. Show Model Managers having underlying OLAP processes with error messages.
    • Show Warnings. Show Model Managers having underlying OLAP processes with warning messages.
    • Show No Data. Show Model Managers having underlying OLAP processes with "no data" conditions.
    • All. Select to show all status types. On each line you will have a link to a list of funds affected, and to a log file showing the error, warning or no-data condition. You can also drill down to the Model Manager and then to the Report level, and click Show Errors to see errors pertaining to just those levels of the build.
