The Unsettled Cash Rollforward report displays for an entity the beginning unsettled cash balance, activity reported as traded amount, settled amount, and settlement breakage, the ending balance, and the variance. Settlement breakage is the trade date to settlement date gain/loss.

Advanced report views available for this report include:

  • Local. This view displays local amounts by asset grouped by ledger account, long/short position, and asset currency.
  • Base. This view displays with base amounts by asset grouped by the ledger account, long/short position, and asset currency.

  • Local Variance. This view displays with variances detailed at the position level; and Base Variance, with variances detailed at the position level.

To create the Unsettled Cash Rollforward report:

  1. From the Accounting Center window, click Reporting in the left navigation.
  2. Double click Investment AccountingRollforward Reports, and Cash Rollforward.
    You see the Unsettled Cash Rollforward panel.
  3. Complete the fields on the Unsettled Cash Rollforward panel and click Submit.

  4. Click Submit and then click Advanced Report or Classic Grid Report.
    The report appears on your desktop for the view selected.

Unsettled Cash Rollforward Panel Options

You can use the Unsettled Cash panel to generate the Unsettled Cash Rollforward report. A definition of the options on the Unsettled Cash Rollforward panel follows.

Search Criteria
Entity IDSpecifies a portfolio, sector portfolio, composite portfolio, or Master Fund by the entity ID of the entity.
Entity NameSpecifies a portfolio, sector portfolio, composite portfolio, or Master Fund by name of the entity.
Base CurrencySpecifies the base currency for your report results.
Accounting BasisSpecifies the entity accounting basis. For example, USTAX, GAAP, or IFRS.
Report PeriodSpecifies the type of date or date range for controlling your report results.
Options include:
  • Daily Activity (Default)
  • Date Range
  • Fiscal Year to Date
  • Life to Date
  • Calendar Year to Date
  • Inception to Date
  • Month to Date
Beginning Balance DateSpecifies the beginning balance date for your report results. The default is first day of the current month. To use this option, you must select Date Range as your report period.
Ending Balance DateSpecifies the ending balance date for your report results. The default is today's date.
Report Type Specifies the type of report date used for report results.
Options include:
  • Accounting Date (Default)
  • Month End Accounting Date
Show DetailAllows you to show details in your report results. The default is Yes.
Selection Criteria
Report ViewAllows you to show/hide additional filters by security.
Options include:
  • All Securities (Default)
  • Specific Security
Advanced Report OptionsAllows you to show/hide advanced report format options. The default is No.
Filter Security ByAllows you to show/hide additional report filters. To use this option you must select Specific Security as your report view.
Options include:
  • Security Cross Reference (Default). If you select this option the panel unhides the Xref Type and Xref Security ID fields for data entry.
  • Issue Name. If you select this option, the panel unhides the Issue Name field for data entry.
  • Primary Asset ID. If you select this option, the panel unhides the Primary Asset ID field for data entry.
Other FiltersAllows you to filter by Asset Currency, Long Short, Investment Type, Security Type, and Processing Security Type.
