You can delete STAR and ISTAR position and activity records when required to correct the database. You can delete all positions and activity for one security in an entity or all positions and activity in an entity.
This function is useful when:
- SMF data has been set up in error and deleting is a superior solution to cancelling and rebooking
- Corruption of a cost object
Access to this function should be restricted as there is no reversal of this process once executed. Usage of the function should be limited to cases where there are limited alternatives
