Voluntary Call Corporate Action Example

If the Call/Put/Pre-Refund corporate action (in the previous example) is at the discretion of the holder of the security, or pertains to a specific holder, you set up the corporate action with the Mandatory/Voluntary Indicator set to Voluntary. See the following figure.

Then, set up the voluntary corporate election, and specify a value in either the Elected Shares, or Elected Shares Percent field, to indicate the amount of shares participating in the event. In the following example, the issuer is calling 500,000.00 Par (uses Elected Shares) of the bond from a Position Quantity of 10,000,000.00. See the following figure.
