Voluntary Call Corporate Action Example
If the Call/Put/Pre-Refund corporate action used in the mandatory call example is at the discretion of the holder of the security, or pertains to a specific holder, you set up the corporate action with the Mandatory/Voluntary Indicator set to Voluntary.
The following figure shows the Create Calls/Puts/Refund panel.
Then, set up the voluntary corporate election, and specify a value in either the Elected Shares, or Elected Shares Percent field, to indicate the amount of shares participating in the event. In the following example, the issuer is calling 500,000.00 Par (uses Elected Shares) of the bond from a Position Quantity of 10,000,000.00.
The following figure shows the Add Voluntary Corporate Action Election panel's Add Entity Election Detail tab.
