You can use IWS for EDS interfaces (EDS Tool) to export a solution.

To export a solution:

  1. Launch IWS for EDS interfaces (EDS Tool) and open the solution you want to export.
  2. On the Solution tab, in the General Solution Commands group, click Export Solution.

    This dialog box represents the solution structure.
  3. You can preview the current files by selecting a file and then clicking the File Preview tab at the right side of the box.

  4. To close the preview of the selected file, you can click the File Preview tab again.
  5. To exclude a file from export, in the Include column, remove the check mark from the check box next to its name.
  6. In the Package Name and Package Description fields, the field are filled automatically but you can edit them.
  7. You should select the Path where you want the package saved in your machine by clicking  Open Select Path Dialog or you can manually enter a value for the path.

    The Windows default window with file structure appears if you click  Open Select Path Dialog.
  8. In the Export Path field, provide a value, and then click Export.

    If you do not specify a value for the Export Path, the export process does not start.

    The Solution Export box closes. You can find the package file on your local machine.
