In Automation Center, you can reprocess exceptions by selecting the action rule category and applying the action rules within this category to the exception. When the exception has been successfully reprocessed, its status will change to Reprocessed.

To reprocess an exception via the action rule in Automation Center:

  1. In the Exceptions workspace, right click the exception you wish to reprocess and select the action rule category and the action rule.
    In this example, select the Example: New Action Rule Category and select the Example: Reprocess BUY Action Rule.

    You see the action rule workspace with the Open Debt Bond panel pre-filled with the exception information.
  2. To fix the exception in this example, check the Show Tags and Show Hidden Fields check boxes and scroll down to Event ID (tag 25).
  3. In the Event ID (tag 25) field, enter the appropriate value and click Validate.
  4. In the Summary dialog box, review the warnings and click OK.

  5. Click the Submit button and click OK in the Summary dialog box.
  6. In the Exceptions workspace, click OK in the Status Window dialog box.
  7. Click the Refresh button and select Screen.
    You see that the status of the exception has changed to Reprocessed.
