The Capital Stock Activity default message stream is used to add capital stock activity information and settle capital stock transactions..

Note

You cannot change or delete capital stock activity information using this message stream.

Capital stock activity records are processed using the following streams:

  • eagle_default_in_csv_capital_stock_activity
  • eagle_default_in_star_capital_stock_activity

Settle capital stock transaction records are processed using the following streams:

  • eagle_default_in_csv_fund_expense_settlements
  • eagle_default_in_star_fund_expense_settlements

Sample records, required data fields, as well as panels, binds, and stored procedures for the Capital Stock Activity stream are described in the following pages.

You can process capital stock activity by setting Event Type (tag 55) to:

  • Cap Stock Activity – Base. You must set tag 55 to CAPSTOCK BASE to process capital stock activity base transactions. For base records, you must refer to the data elements listed in the Cap Stock Activity – Base data table.
  • Cap Stock Activity – Non-Base. You must set tag 55 to CAP STOCK NON BASE to process capital stock activity non-base transactions. For non-base records, you must refer to the data elements listed in the Cap Stock Activity – Non-Base data table.
  • Cap Stock Activity – In Kind Redemption. You must set tag 55 to ADDINKINDRED to process Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) in kind capital stock redemption transactions.
  • Cap Stock Activity – In Kind Subscription. You must set tag 55 to ADDINKINDSUB to process Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) in kind capital stock subscription transactions. 

You can process capital stock settlements by setting Event Type (tag 55) to SUBSCRIPTION or REDEMPTION.
