Query report profiles are supported in advanced reports. In the image below, all four current views are supported, as are overrides to the original date and entity parameters in the Query Report Profile.

Query Report Profile Example

Use Submit with Overrides

You can take advantage of the Submit with Override feature in the Advanced Report profile with an underlying performance query report profile.  Submit with Override works for both entities and dates.

Submit with Override feature in the Advanced Repor

Note the following in regard to query report profiles and advanced report Overrides:

  • To override from an Advanced Report, the Force Dates option must be checked in the Advanced Report Rule that pertains to the Performance Query Tool profile.
  • To override both the begin and end dates from the Advanced Profile to the underlying Performance Query, the Performance Query must have the begin and the end dates set as specific fixed dates in the main query profile.
  • The end date should not be the default Current Date or a Date Rule. Use the Between option in the Advanced Report profile date section.
  • To override the end date from the Advanced Report profile to the underlying Performance Query, the Performance Query must have the end date set as a specific fixed date in the main query profile.
  • The end date should not be the default Current Date or a Date Rule. Use the As of option in the Advanced Report profile date section.
  • To override an entity or a parameter of the main date fetch, edit the Advanced Report rule and right-click the desired component to call the window shown in the previous figure.
