In the Edit NAV Rule panel, you can change one or more rule details associated with NAV rules. You can only change the To General Ledger Account value. If you want to add rule details to an existing NAV rule, you can use the Update option in the Create NAV Rule panel. 

To edit NAV rule details:

  1. In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Setup Fund Accounting > Valuations Edit NAV Rule.
    You see the Edit NAV Rule panel.
  2. In the Chart of Account Name field, select the name of the Chart of Accounts associated with the rule you want to edit.
    The default value is STAR.
  3. If you want to edit results for a single NAV rule, enter the rule identifier in the NAV Ledger Rule ID box.
    Otherwise, leave this field blank to view all NAV rules for editing.
  4. Click Submit.
    You see a row for each NAV rule details that met your criteria in the Show All tab.
  5. Select the row for each NAV rule detail you want to update so that a check mark appears in the check box, and click Change Rule.
    In the Change NAV Ledger Rule grid, you see a row for each NAV rule details you selected.
  6. Click the row for each NAV rule details you want to update, and make your changes.
    You can only change the To General Ledger Account value. You cannot change the rule name, rule type, chart of account name, or the From General Ledger Account value. 
  7. Click Submit.
