You can override prices already processed at either the original source level or target source level. You can also update the market data, price level comments, and for original source, you can update the price volume. The updated price information appears when you refresh the Security Summary report.

To override prices:

  1. In the Reference Desk workspace, click Prices in the left navigation.
    You see the Prices workspace with all the available price records.

  2. Click the View Data By drop down and select Vendor Prices or Gold Copy prices from the drop-down list.

  3. Click Search.
    You see the search results based on the criteria you selected.

  4. Right-click the value you wish to edit and click Edit Override. Or, double click the value you wish to edit.
    You see the Override Value dialog box.

  5. Complete the fields on the Override Value dialog box.

  6. Click Apply to apply your changes and close the Override dialog box and return to the Overrides window.

  7. Click View Change Summary to review the changes to the override and then click Submit Changes


    Override Dialog Options

     Start DateSpecifies the start date.

    Market Date Specifies the market date.

    Price Condition Describes the price condition.

    Price Level CommentAdd additional comments to the price level.
    Reason Code Allows you to specify a reason for the override.
    Trading VolumeDescribes the trading volume.
    Source Detail Describes the source detail.
    Reason Code Enables you to select a reason code.
    CommentProvides a space to enter a comment.
    Update Date Displays the updated date.
    Update User Displays the name of the user.
     Attachment Allows you to attach a file.
